The rules for using Postfolio—your account, your content, subscriptions, and everything in between.

By accessing or using our Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Description of Service

Postfolio is a platform for saving, organizing, discovering, and sharing web content—articles, videos, images, and links. Our Services include a web application and a browser extension with features like categorization, note-taking, sharing, and tiered subscriptions.

2. User Accounts

a. Registration

To save content or use the extension you need an account. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and keep it that way.

b. Account Security

You are responsible for your password and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses caused by compromised credentials.

c. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3. User Conduct & Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Probing, scanning, or testing system vulnerabilities
  • Bypassing security or authentication measures
  • Accessing non-public areas of Postfolio's systems
  • Interfering with users, hosts, or networks (viruses, flooding, spamming)
  • Distributing malware through the Services
  • Scraping or crawling without prior consent
  • Sending spam or unsolicited promotions
  • Spoofing, phishing, or sending deceptive information
  • Publishing unlawful, violent, or indecent material
  • Advocating hatred or bigotry against any group
  • Violating any applicable law or third-party rights
  • Infringing intellectual property rights

4. Content

a. Your Content

You retain ownership of anything you save, upload, or post to Postfolio ("Your Content").

b. License to Postfolio

By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display it for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services. This license continues after you stop using Postfolio for backup, archival, and previously shared content.

c. Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content and warrant that you have all necessary rights to share it.

d. Public vs. Private

You control visibility. Public content may be viewed by anyone. Private content is protected per our Privacy Policy.

e. Prohibited Content

Do not submit content that violates these Terms or any law. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to violating content.

5. Browser Extension

a. License

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the extension for personal, non-commercial use alongside the Postfolio web app.

b. Functionality

The extension saves web content to your account by reading page URLs, titles, and images when you tell it to.

c. Updates

We may automatically update the extension or require you to install updates manually.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Tiers — we offer Basic, Pro, and other plans with varying features and limits.

Billing — paid tiers are billed monthly or annually in advance via Paddle or Stripe.

Renewals — subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the billing period ends.

Cancellation — cancel anytime in account settings. Access continues until the current period ends.

Refunds — generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

Free tiers — may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice.

Price changes — we will give advance notice. Cancel before the change takes effect if you disagree.

7. Intellectual Property

a. Our IP

The Services—design, graphics, logos, and proprietary content—are protected by copyright, trademark, and other IP laws. Do not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part without permission.

b. Feedback

Suggestions or ideas you share grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate them without obligation.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

We may link to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. These Terms and our Privacy Policy do not apply to those sites.

9. Termination

a. By you

Stop using the Services anytime. Request account deletion at admin@mypostfolio.com.

b. By Postfolio

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for Terms violations or harmful conduct, and may remove inactive accounts.

c. Effect

Your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions on ownership, warranties, indemnity, and liability survive termination.

10. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Your use is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postfolio shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages—including loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data—arising from or relating to the Services.

We assume no liability for errors, personal injury, unauthorized access, transmission interruptions, bugs or viruses transmitted through the Services, or the conduct of any third party.

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or USD $100.00.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Postfolio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, or claims that Your Content caused damage. This obligation survives termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes come with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Philippine courts.

15. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement — these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and Postfolio.

Severability — if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.

Waiver — failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.

Assignment — you may not transfer these Terms. Postfolio may assign without restriction.

Headings — section headings are for convenience only.
